This Genealogists' Insta-Guide is made up of links to 140 Internet databases that act as Name Lists - censuses and substitutes, i.e. name lists from Kentucky's early censuses, court records, directories, histories, land records, militia lists, tax lists, vital records or voter lists. Although Kentucky's 1790 and 1800 federal censuses were lost, census substitutes can identify virtually all of the heads of household in Kentucky during that period. Fully half the links in this Insta-Guide are for that time period.
